Dear Friends: November 1, 2009
We appreciate good architecture as a subliminal quality in our lives. Architects use art, engineering, psychology and physiology to design most of our man-made environment. Amidst good design we are inspired, we are calm, we are protected, and things just work better.
We invite you to join us as we form the Neutra House Association and initiate an annual Speaker Series (speaker bios). Enjoy a program of talks, meet interesting people, learn more about great architecture, and contribute to this community endeavor to save for public use a small Neutra-designed redwood house.
As an Association member you will receive periodic reports on our program activities, including our plans for a second LA Modern Home Tour in 2010.
A charitable contribution of $70 ($125 for two) makes you a member of the Association for a year and admits you to the five remaining talks by these outstanding architects and authors.
See the Speaker Series poster below for details (printable pdf poster). Read the speaker bios.
Please use our PayPal online form below to join us in this cultural adventure and guarantee seats. Tickets are also available at the door for $15. The ticket desk opens at 5:30 pm. The talks begin at 6:00 pm.
Contact us via neutra@los-altos.org with questions and/or request a tour of the Neutra House.
